A Book Fair - Paragraph for HSC & SSC

বইকে বলা হয় মানুষের সবচেয়ে ভালো বন্ধু, কেননা এই বন্ধু কখনো হতাশ করে না। বরং নতুন নতুন অনেক  কিছু শেখায়, দেখায়, ভাবতে-বুঝতে শেখায়,  বোঝার জন্য অন্তর্দৃষ্টি তৈরি করে, মানুষের মননকে বিকশিত করে। এমন উপকারী কোন কিছুকে সর্বোৎকৃষ্ট বন্ধু না বলে আর কী বলা যায়, সেটিই বরং খুঁজে বের করার বিষয়।

একটি মেলা যেখানে বিভিন্ন ধরনের বই, ভিন্ন ভিন্ন লেখকের লেখা, এমন কি বিভিন্ন ভাষার অগণিত বই এর সমারোহ, লেখক-পাঠকদের মিলন মেলা; তবে সেই বই মেলা বা book fair বইপ্রেমী বা পাঠকদের জন্য কতোটা কাঙ্ক্ষিত এবং উপভোগ্য হতে পারে তা আন্দাজ করেই বোঝা যেতে পারে।

A Book Fair বা একটি বই মেলা নিয়ে paragraph লেখার জন্য, নিচে উল্লেখ করা কয়েকটি সাধারণ প্রশ্নের উত্তর গুছিয়ে লিখলেই প্যারাগ্রাফটির কাঠামো তৈরি হয়ে যাবে । এর সঙ্গে আনুসঙ্গিক আরো কিছু তথ্য উপস্থাপন করা হলে paragraph টি পূর্নাঙ্গ হয়ে তৈরি হবে ।

যে মেলায় বিভিন্ন ধরনের এবং বিভিন্ন লেখকের বই প্রদর্শিত হয় এবং সেসকল বই ক্রয় করার সুযোগ থাকে তাকে বই মেলা বলা যায়।  

Q2. Who organizes such fair?

এধরনের বইমেলা সাধারণত ভাষা বিষয়ক কোন সংস্থা যেমনঃ বাংলা একাডেমি; কিংবা বিভিন্ন ধরনের প্রকাশনা প্রতিষ্ঠান এধরনের মেলা আয়োজন করে থাকে।

Q3. When are such fairs held?

আমাদের দেশে সাধারণত ২১ ফেব্রুয়ারী, পহেলা বৈশাখ এর মতো বিশেষ দিনগুলোতে বা এসব বিশেষ দিনকে সামনে রেখে এক বা একাধিক দিন,  এমন কি মাসব্যাপী (একুশে বই মেলা) এই আয়োজন চলতে পারে।

বিভিন্ন লেখকের, বিভিন্ন ভাষার এবং বিভিন্ন প্রকাশকের প্রায় সব ধরনের বই এ ধরনের মেলাতে স্থান পেয়ে থাকে।

বই মানুষের মানবিক উৎকর্ষতা বৃদ্ধিতে সহায়ক, ফলে এধরনের মেলা একটি জাতি-রাষ্ট্রের ভবিষ্যৎ প্রজন্মকে মননশীল করে তুলতে, নতুন সাহিত্য তৈরিতে এবং আগামী দিনের সাহিত্যিক, লেখক এবং পাঠক সমাজ গড়ে তুলতে এক অতুলনীয় ভূমিকা রাখতে পারে।  

A Book Fair

A book fair is an exhibition where various kinds of books written and published by different writers and publishers are exhibited. It showcases many different types of literary publications in one banner. Fairs like these are usually organized by the organizations such as a Bangla academy or publishing companies. Book fairs are frequently held in Cities and District cities. Book fairs are commonly held at significant events such as February 21st, Pamela Baishakh, etc. Many publishers organize book fairs to display their old and new books from time to time. They present their books to their readers to inform them about their essence. Readers of all ages attend the book fair.

Books of many categories, including fiction, drama, and children's books, are exhibited here. Book fair focuses on the significance of books in our daily life. Which can help broaden readers' views, improve their understanding, and help shed light on the darkness of one's mind. It is believed that introducing someone to a new book is the same as educating them about something new. Book fairs can generate contemporary poets and writers for a nation or society every year. People are likely to purchase books based on their preferences. The organizing committee usually holds a discussion meeting when the book fair is already in place. Renowned authors, artists, and scientists congregate there. During the fair, it serves as a gathering place for writers. It is not simply a fun celebration, but it also represents the cultural identity of a civilized and educated people. It expands the option to purchase books of varying tastes. At the same time, it strengthens the relationship between the writers and the readers. As a result, a book fair can play an essential role for the nation and its people. They can provide readers with an opportunity to get close and personal with new books. It can also enrich our national culture and traditions by raising people's awareness. As a result, the government and business sectors should step forward and expand it further.
