Ad-lib, this word also came from the Latin language and has similar meaning to Ad-hoc but not actually the same. In English, the word can be used as an adjective or an adverb or a verb or as a noun.

Ad-lib, শব্দটিও ল্যাটিন ভাষা থেকে এসেছে এবং অর্থের দিক থেকেও Ad hoc শব্দটির প্রায় কাছাকাছি কিন্তু আসলে এক নয়। ইংরেজীতে শব্দটি adjective অথবা adverb অথবা verb বা noun হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Meaning as an adjective/ adverb:

1. Performed or spoken without prior preparation.
