Affirmative Sentence কাকে বলে? Affirmative Sentence এর গঠন ও উদাহরণ

বাক্যের প্রকাশিত বক্তব্য, ভাব বা মতের ইতিবাচকতা (possitivity) বা নেতিবাচকতা (negativity) এর উপর ভিত্তি করে বাক্যকে ২ ভাগে ভাগ করা যায়। 

1. Affirmative Sentence ( হ্যাঁ বোধক/ ইতিবাচক বাক্য )
2. Negative Sentence ( না বোধক / নেতিবাচক বাক্য ) 

Affirmative Sentence কাকে বলে?

যে সব বাক্যের সাহায্যে কোন ভাষ্য, বক্তব্য কিংবা তথ্য সম্পর্কে positivity বা ইতিবাচকতা প্রকাশ পায় তাদেরকে Affirmative sentence (হ্যাঁ বোধক/ ইতিবাচক বাক্য) বলা হয়। 

Example:

• Bangladesh is located in Asia.
• They are having their dinner.
• She is going to school.
• You can do it.
• Rafa will do it.
• He gave the poor boy some food to eat. 

উপরের বাক্যগুলোর বক্তব্য ইতিবাচক মত প্রকাশ করছে, অর্থাৎ অর্থের নেতিবাচক ব্যবহার নেই। ফলে এরা সকলেই affirmative sentence এর উদাহরণ। 

Affirmative Sentence এর Structure:

হ্যাঁ বোধক/ ইতিবাচক বাক্য গঠনের ক্ষেত্রে, বাক্যের subject এর সাথে verb (positive form) এবং অন্যান্য অংশ মিলে এধরনের বাক্য গঠিত হয়।

Example:

• This mango is sweet.
• The food is spicy.
• We play cricket everyday.
• They are swimming. 

Affirmative sentence যেমন ইতিবাচক বিষয়গুলোকে প্রকাশ করে, ঠিক তার বিপরীত মত প্রকাশকারী বক্তব্যকে প্রকাশকারী বাক্যটি হল Negative sentence বা নেতিবাচক বাক্য। 

সাধারনত, Affirmative sentence এর Verb এর শেষে not যোগ করে কিংবা Verb এর base form এর সাথে do/ does/ did + not যোগ করে বাক্যকে Negative sentence এ রূপান্তরিত করা যায়। 

Negative Sentence কাকে বলে?

যে সব বাক্যের সাহায্যে কোন ভাষ্য, বক্তব্য কিংবা তথ্য সম্পর্কে negativity বা নেতিবাচকতা প্রকাশ পায় তাদেরকে Negative sentence (না বোধক / নেতিবাচক বাক্য) বলা হয়। 

Example:

• Bangladesh is not located in South America.
• They are not having their dinner.
• She is not going to school.
• You can not do it.
• Rafa will not do it.
• He did not give the poor boy some food to eat. 

নেতিবাচক বাক্যের Structure

না বোধক/ নেতিবাচক বাক্য গঠনের ক্ষেত্রে, বাক্যের subject এর সাথে verb এর শেষে Not অথবা verb এর base form এর সঙ্গে   do/ does/ did + not ( negative form) এবং অন্যান্য অংশ মিলে এধরনের বাক্য গঠিত হয়। 

Example:

• This mango isn’t sweet.
• The food isn’t spicy. 

Example:

• We don’t play cricket everyday.
  They aren’t swimming.

তবে, কিছু ক্ষেত্রে বাক্যে positive এবং negative structure একসাথে ব্যবহৃত হতে পারে। Question Tag ঠিক তেমনই একটি বিষয়।

এক্ষেত্রে Affirmative sentence এর সাথে সংযুক্ত tag question টি হয় Negative, এবং Negative sentence এর tag question টি possitive হয়ে থাকে।

Example:

• He plays the guitar, doesn’t he?
• She was cooking when the phone rang, wasn’t she?
• They play football, don’t they?
